Quaker Quest

If you are looking for a spiritual path that is simple, contemporary and radical, the experience of Quakers could speak to you. Come and join us for a series of informal presentations, discussions and questionings, with time to meet new people, experience Quaker worship and browse Quaker literature.

In 2011 Quaker Quest projects were held within our ‘Central England Quaker Area Meeting’ at the Quaker Meeting Houses of Cotteridge (four evening sessions), Bournville (five evening sessions), Hartshill (one full-day Saturday session), and Bull Street Birmingham City Centre (one evening and one Saturday morning session).  The next series of Quaker Quest sessions will take place in 2012, with the venues and dates being available to read on this page as soon as possible.

Who is it for?

Everyone is welcome.

All you need is to be open minded and interested. Do come along, make new discoveries, ask questions, and see if there’s something for you.

Where and when

Details of the 2012 Quaker Quest sessions will be available to read on this page soon, but don’t wait for the Quaker Quest sessions to begin if you are interested in visiting a Quaker or Friends’ Meeting House beforehand!  You are very welcome to visit any of our Meeting Houses.  Please consult the Local Meetings link pages for details of individual Meeting Houses and of their starting times for their Meetings for Worship on Sunday mornings.  Some of our Quaker Meetings also meet on Sunday evenings, and some Meetings additionally hold a mid-week Meeting for Worship.  All members of the public, including children, are very welcome to attend our Meetings for Worship.
